1. The service
Edith helps an AI agent request paid API resources while the wallet owner remains responsible for approving each payment. Edith may check earlier outcomes, apply spending limits, present a provider's quote, verify a Sui transfer, and record the result in Walrus Memory. Edith does not act as a bank, custodian, payment insurer, or source of guaranteed data quality.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not connect a wallet or submit paid requests. The open-source code is separately offered under its MIT license.
2. Eligibility and authority
Use Edith only if you can lawfully use a Sui wallet and enter these terms where you live. If you use Edith for another person or organization, you must have authority to do so. You are responsible for complying with laws and provider terms that apply to your requests and payments.
3. Wallets and agent keys
You control your wallet and its recovery material. Edith does not hold your private key. Signing in proves control of an address and creates a session; it does not authorize spending. Each payment requires your separate wallet signature. Review the amount, recipient, network, and request before signing.
An agent key lets software request paid URLs and read its own results. It cannot approve a transfer. You are responsible for where you place that key, for requests made with it, and for disconnecting an agent if its key is lost or exposed.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Edith to break the law, access data without permission, probe or disrupt systems, evade a provider's payment terms, or submit requests that infringe others' rights. Do not attempt to bypass spending limits, wallet approvals, or request restrictions. We may restrict access or suspend the service to protect users, providers, or infrastructure.
5. Payments and finality
Paid API prices are set by the provider, not by Edith. Sui network fees may apply in addition to the quoted amount. A signed transaction may settle even if a provider times out or fails to return a useful response. Confirmed Sui transfers are generally final and cannot be reversed by Edith. A failed transaction may still consume gas.
Edith's memory and limits reduce some repeated spending, but they cannot guarantee that a response is useful, that a provider will remain available, or that a transaction will settle as expected. An uncertain payment must be checked against Sui evidence before it is treated as failed. You remain responsible for deciding whether to approve a quote.
6. Third-party services
Edith relies on Sui, wallet software, paid API providers, Tatum, Walrus Memory, Vercel, and Neon. Their availability, policies, fees, and behavior are outside Edith's control. External links and provider content are supplied for your use at your own discretion. Their separate terms may apply.
7. Availability and changes
The service may be unavailable, delayed, changed, or discontinued. We may update these terms and show the new date on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, where applicable law allows. If a change materially affects your use, review the new terms before another payment.
8. Disclaimers
Edith is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service comes without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of third-party responses, or recovery of a blockchain payment. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Edith's operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits, or loss caused by wallet compromise, provider behavior, network failure, or transactions you approve. Any limitation applies only where the law permits it and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited. The identity of the service operator and any specific liability cap require owner and legal review before publication as final terms.
10. Related information
Read the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Payments & Memory guide. These terms are a draft for owner and legal review. The operator's legal identity, private contact channel, and governing law have not yet been provided.
